which, truthfully, wasn't fully true

This is kind of a serious question but I don’t have a doctor right now besides my pediatrician and I’ve been meaning to change to my moms general practitioner but I don’t know how long I can wait anyway

How would someone know if they have bipolar disorder instead of regular depression

Her episodes don’t switch in days, from what I can tell…? But I’m NOT an expert, so please don’t quote me… Hope you feel better, hon! <3

But having a starting point of “well I think it might be a, b, c” is a lot better than running around flailing and screaming “IDK MY BRAIN IS BROKEN.” Which, no lie, I said that to a therapist once.

My therapist said it could be indication of bipolar, but she was hesitant to diagnose me because I up and down a lot - like every other week sometimes, which is exhausting. tl;dr bring it up to a doctor, and trust your instincts to an extent - you know *something* is wrong, here’s what you think, check it against the doctor’s thoughts.
